Q. Who owns Graham Auto Repair?

A. Graham Auto Repair is owned and operated by Troy and Kori Vaninetti. They purchased the shop in 2006 and live locally in Yelm, WA. As a family-owned business, their focus is on building strong relationships with their team and their customers and giving back to the community.

Q. How long have you been in business?

A. Graham Auto Repair first opened its doors in 2002, but our story goes back even further. Troy Vaninetti began serving the Graham community in 1988, starting out as a service attendant while still a teenager. Over the years, he worked his way up in the shop: from assistant technician, to lead technician, and eventually shop manager.

In 2006, Troy and his wife Kori purchased the business and continued building on its foundation of honest, high-quality service. Today, Graham Auto Repair has grown into a two-location team with deep roots in the community.

Q. Do you offer a warranty?

A. Yes! We offer an in-house warranty on most services, which covers both parts and labor. It’s our way of standing behind the quality work our team provides.

Q. What does the Graham Auto Repair warranty cover?

A. Our warranty covers parts and labor for most mechanical repairs completed by our team using high-quality parts. Some exclusions may apply depending on the type of part, vehicle, or service. Your advisor will always explain warranty coverage with you before beginning work.

Q. What should I do if I have a concern after my repair or service?

A. If something doesn’t feel right after your service, please call us right away. We’ll review your warranty coverage, take a look, and make it right. We stand behind our work and are always happy to serve you.

Q. Do you work with insurance or extended warranty companies?

A. Yes! We work with most aftermarket warranty companies and are happy to help you navigate insurance-covered repairs if applicable. Just let us know your provider, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.


🎓 Training & Careers

Q. Do you provide training for your technicians?

A. Yes! At Graham Auto Repair, we believe in continuous learning. Our technicians complete ongoing training each year to stay current with the latest tools, technology, and techniques. Each team member completes 40 hours of paid training per year, which includes ASE testing, and attending the annual Automotive Training Expo, ATE Seattle, through the Northwest Auto Care Alliance (NWACA). We pay our technicians an ASE bonus for their current Certifications.

We’re proud to participate in the Washington State Certified Apprentice Program through NWACA’s iTAC initiative. Several of our technicians are currently enrolled in the program. We're also proud to have a graduate of the Master Service Technician program on our team. Supporting the next generation of skilled professionals is one of the key ways we maintain high-quality repairs — now and for years to come.

💲 Cost, Estimates & Inspections

Q. Why don’t you give estimates over the phone?

A. Without seeing your vehicle in person, any estimate would just be a guess. Every car is different, even the same make and model, depending on how it’s been driven and maintained. We don’t like to guess! We prefer to inspect your vehicle first so we can give you accurate recommendations and a fair estimate based on what your vehicle actually needs.

Q. Why do we provide free digital vehicle inspections with every service?

A. Our goal is to help you make informed decisions. We perform a free Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) with every service, including oil changes. This allows us to provide detailed recommendations based on real-time photos, videos, and diagnostic results. We’ll explain what needs immediate attention, what can wait, and help you prioritize work based on your budget and timeline.

Q. Why do prices vary between vehicles or customers?

A. No two vehicles are the same. Differences in make, model, mileage, driving habits, and past maintenance can all affect the cost of service. We customize each estimate to your vehicle's actual condition so you’re not paying for unnecessary services.

Q. Do your estimates expire?

A. Yes. Our estimates are valid for 14 days. After that, parts pricing or availability may change. If an update is needed, we’ll let you know and walk you through any updates before starting work.
