On September 10, 2022 we celebrated the Grand Opening of our second Auto Repair Shop in Yelm, WA. We are so thankful for our Team from both locations for putting this event together and celebrating with us! We are also thankful for the Yelm Chamber of Commerce. During the month of September Businesses are collecting New Socks that will be donated to local charities. At Graham Auto Repair we are one of the drop-off locations! This annual sock raising competition started in 2020. We joined up in 2021 and are excited to participate again this year! Please help our team meet our goal of raising 100,000 socks this year!!! To celebrate opening our second location we held a monthly Customer Appreciation Drawing for our first 3 months of business. We had a total of 3 winners. In July we drew our first winner from all of our customers in June 2022. You can watch the video below to see our first winner. In August we drew our second winner from all of our customers in July 2022. Finally, at our Grand Opening celebration in September 2022, we drew our final winner, from our customers in August 2022. Graham Auto Repair had the opportunity to sponsor the Car Show last month, at the Nisqually Valley Home and Garden Show. Our Marketing Manager, Lacie, attended the Car Show with her two daughters. Brakes for Breasts 2021 What is Brakes for Breasts? The Brakes for Breasts Fundraiser started in 2011 with five Automotive Repair Shops in Cleveland, Ohio. Now it has grown to hundreds of Independent Auto Repair Shops across the United States and Canada. Since its formation, shops have been raising funds through Brakes for Breasts for Breast Cancer Vaccine research. As of 2021 this fundraiser has brought in over one million dollars!  How Does Brakes for Breasts Work? During the month of October, Graham Auto Repair is offering Free Brake Pads to our customers with cars and light trucks.   Have you heard about SOCKTember?? During the month of September Businesses are collection New Socks that will be donated to local charities. Our Team at Graham Auto Repair has joined up with TeamARES as a drop-off location for all of your sock donations!! Who is TeamARES? ARES is a local business that is partnered with the Graham Business Association, just like we are. ARES stands for "Advanced Restoration Environmental Services." Their team assists their clients through the process of Home Repair Insurance Claims, for things like fire and water damage.     Brakes for Breasts 2020 Results   Watch this video for an update on how much money we were able to donate toward the Brakes for Breasts Fundraiser for 2020. Thank you to everyone who came to Graham Auto Repair during the campaign to have their Brakes Serviced at our Shop! Our donation was made possible because of you! Update from the 2020 Brakes for Breasts Campaign: 2020 was the 10 year anniversary for the Brakes for Breasts Fundraiser, and it was their best fundraising year since they started! They surpassed $200k in donations this year, making their total donations over the past 10 years over $1 million dollars!
